Document Submission Guidelines

 

  1. We prioritize info that cannot be obtained easily through other news outlets, e.g., we look for open letters, emails, and meeting minutes.

  2. Content must be true & authentic, unaltered from its original state except where alteration is needed to protect vulnerable people such as survivors, students, junior faculty, people of color, certain staff categories.

  3. Content must come with a complete description of its provenance (trail of origin) except when this would endanger vulnerable people, as above.

  4. Whenever possible, submit web addresses and PDFs. Web addresses aid sharing. PDFs are less easily edited post-hoc and document the past when web addresses or content change.

"The Deans have been working tirelessly and collaboratively since the University Council meeting on the Tues, Jan. 23rd. Over the weekend, they we were asked to meet on Monday, Jan. 29th with the Board of Trustees to provide feedback on a document they had prepared about the qualitative and quantitative assessment measures of a new president. On Sunday afternoon, they worked to pull together a text that responded to the Board and established the principles to which the Deans are  committed in their work together and with faculty. The text of what we said is attached."
